BARDO COFFEE

Dave made the process very easy for me. With the addition of a liquor license, we wanted to create a bar setting to add to the coffee experience. The 360° bar accomplished this nicely with micro environments effectively establishing division of the space for comfortable work and meetings spaces. The mix of classic materials and simple seating works well to create a comfortable space for patrons.”

Bring in the mid-mod with a quality bean and out comes the crema appeal. A second location to a classic coffee shop in the urban Baker hood has expanded to the up and coming Wheatridge area, where a great building shell caught the client’s attention on a drive by.

A careful combination of classic materials and inviting gathering spaces accents the flow between the bar and the lounge areas. A maple plywood screen defines the division of active and passive arrangements, with the maple continuing over the lounge to warm the ambient tones. Client’s inspiration of concept meets a deep passion for mid-century design influence.
