A5 STEAKHOUSE
With four different ownership groups stretching over sixty years, this historic building was in need of something fresh and new. Juan Padró of the Culinary Creative Group opened A5 Steakhouse in the Fall of 2021 after his previous French eatery, Morin had to close when the pandemic put the kibosh on indoor dining in March 2020.
A5 embraced a fresh start by offering a new aesthetic to the traditional steakhouse. The design concept offers the right balance of retro-inspired design elements with a modern approach to sourcing. Pops of green, including a succulent lined back bar and greenery-covered wallpaper, the decor is inspired in part by the fern bars of the late 60’s tiki bars. Clean lines and sleek seating and booths offer a retro nod, as well. There are references to creative cows throughout, including a set of framed images of bovines dressed to the nines and ready for an evening out.
