ASH’KARA HIGHLANDS DENVER
The first installment of Ash’Kara is nestled in the Lower Highlands neighborhood, where Chef Dan Asher of Culinary Creative offers up an exploration of contemporary Israeli cuisine, pulling in influences from the Mediterranean, North Africa and Middle East. Before starting his own restaurants around Boulder, Daniel Asher led the kitchens of Root Down, Linger, and Ophelia’s in Denver. Israeli cuisine represents a crossroads of historical influences, which shows in the menu’s well-researched, yet soulful food. With design elements inspired by the culture of Tel Aviv, moroccan lanterns, and lush greenery, there a bright, vibrant, lively energy throughout the dining space. Bauhaus style custom wallpaper brings a colorful dimension with reclaimed wood elements throughout.
