CENTRAL BISTRO

“Working with David and his team from Shike Design made a some what complicated restaurant model a breeze! The experience that David has in the restaurant and bar industry paired with his hands-on approach to design was incredibly helpful throughout the entirety of our project.  I was highly impressed that our project was completed on budget and on time.  Since the project has been completed, David is still very responsive on any warranty work or small additions we make in our space.  I would recommend Shike Design for any restaurant/bar interior design remodel or new construction project and have been so impressed with his work that I am currently using him on a residential interior project and cant wait to see the results!” –Isiah R. With two and a half years in business and a new chef, the time came to refine the space and help the overall flow. We softened the dining room with the addition of new fabrics on the seating, texture through wallpaper, and lighting refinement throughout the space. The primary materials remain, yet with a warmer color balance and historic images of the neighborhood. The major impact was opening the view and flow from the dining room to the bar/ lounge, with the addition of custom metal screens replacing solid walls. Added color and large pendant lights fabricated from wine barrel staves reference the significant wine program, along with new tables from reclaimed structural beams enhancing the overall warmth and community feeling of the space.
