TREELINE KITCHEN

Treeline Kitchen is nestled in the heart of Leadville, Colorado (the highest town in the country), with deep roots in the founding of the West. The classy days of opera and turn of the century glamour faded long ago to a more simple, rustic mountain town. With new growth in the region, a demand for growth in food and welcoming venues was long overdue.

The challenge was to not overdue the design and welcome the locals. With a blend of old and the new, from reclaimed local and national resources to custom fabricated details, we combined simple elements to compliment the food and mood.

Located in a century old building restored to immaculate detail, including new structure to accommodate a rooftop deck, staking the claim of the highest in the country, with a panoramic view of the Collegiate Peaks range in central Colorado.

“We were challenged with financing early on with the project, and Dave was helpful and flexible in creating an initial concept that we could present to the bank to acquire our loan. The shell of the space was great, Dave took it to another level of fantastic. His approach to the process gave the time to develop the layout and design to a very functional, simple impact. Dave worked easily with GC, and adapted quickly to the process of the construction. He found recycled furniture, materials, and affordable lighting options to meet our budget constraints.”
