Barrio 75 came about through a previous project with a local restaurateur and food magazine publisher. The client was sought out by a boutique hotel in Sun Valley, an iconic ski resort in Idaho. The concept is a take on street tacos and signature cocktails, with a mix of Latin culture and mountain modern design influence. Rustic, reclaimed beams shipped from Denver to Jackson Wyoming, prefabricated, then sent to Ketchum, create a departure point in the large volume of the room. Accented with distressed ceiling tile walls, cut crystal lighting, and mid modern furniture. We discovered a Mexican illustrator to provided the main wall mural with a sugar skull stylistic image.
